Meditation

From Kashmir's Vijnana Bhairava Tantra to moving practice — presence through stillness and through the rhythm of ordinary life.

Moving Meditations

There are 112 meditations in total — each one a doorway into presence. This knowing comes from the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra, an 8th-century text from Kashmir that offers 112 meditation techniques, shared as a sacred dialogue between Shiva and Shakti.

Why do we offer moving meditations?

Because stillness isn't the only path. For some of us, peace is found in the rhythm of daily actions: stirring, pouring, arranging, tending.

That's why we invite you into practices like:

— Plant-based cooking meditation

— Plant-based baking meditation

— Tea / coffee meditation

— Space organizing meditation

— and other mindful movements

Let the ordinary become your anchor.

Cooking meditation

Mindful cooking rooted in plant-based ingredients — vegetables, grains, legumes, herbs and spices become your meditation objects. Bring full attention to washing, chopping, heat, aroma, and plating; let color, texture, and rhythm anchor you in the present moment.

Baking meditation

Mindful baking with plant-based batters, doughs, and fillings — notice weight in the hands, rise in the oven, warmth, scent, and timing; let each stage return you to the present.

Tea / coffee meditation

Slow down with boil, pour, aroma, and sip — each step a chance to notice breath, hands, and the ordinary made sacred.

Space organizing meditation

Shape your surroundings with clear intention — clearing, aligning, and tending objects until the room reflects calm focus.
